EVENT: Free e-waste drop-off at Prince Edward CI, Saturday, November 15, 2014

Community members are invited to drop off unwanted, outdated or broken electronics waste for free at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

Students in the Environmental Club at Prince Edward Collegiate Institute are holding an electronics waste fundraiser. This event offers a safe way for community members to dispose of electronics and is offered through a partnership with Ontario Electronic Stewardship.

DATE: Saturday, November 15, 2014
LOCATION: Back of Prince Edward Collegiate Institute, 41 Barker Street, Picton
TIME: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Community members are invited to drop off unwanted, outdated or broken electronics waste for free.

List of acceptable items (pdf).

Other items that will be accepted include bagged fabric/clothing, tires and metal (with no attached waste, i.e. metal table legs not attached to an arborite or wooden table). Items that cannot be accepted include batteries and microwave ovens.

All proceeds will be donated to the Loyalist Humane Society.
