7th Annual Student Benefit Auction, Thursday, May 15, 2014

All are invited to the 7th Annual Student Benefit Auction. Come out to bid on lovely, creative gifts for yourself or others. Tickets are $20. All proceeds go to Food for Learning for student nutrition programs in schools.

Food for Learning will be hosting the 7th Annual Student Benefit Auction in May.

This event is to raise funds to support student nutrition programs throughout Hastings County and Prince Edward County.

TIME: 4:00 – 6:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Avaya Canada, 250 Sidney Street, Belleville

This exciting event is truly a ‘students helping students’ event. Students from North Hastings High School will be baking desserts which will be served along with other hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.

Many unique items will be available for auction. The very popular raffle for a bouquet of red roses with ten $50 bill mixed in with the real flowers is back. Other popular items are the Donini chocolate red roses for $3 each with the chance to win a prize with the purchase.

All proceeds from this event will be used to support nutrition programs, such as purchasing groceries, supplies and equipment needed to ensure that all students are attending school well fed and ready to learn.
