“I am honoured to be appointed Director of Education of our great system. As a Trenton High School graduate, I am committed to public education and to the priorities outlined in our AiM—Achievement in Motion System Plan. I believe that Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board is a leader in effective instructional practices and leadership development. We are fortunate to have employees who care about students and who work diligently every day to help students achieve their full potential. I look forward to working with employees, parents/guardians, trustees and community partners to help students become caring, contributing decision-makers of our future,” stated Savery-Whiteway.
